Marguerite Clausman, 90, formerly of Reinbeck, IA, passed away on October 29th at The Life Center in Des Moines. A Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Reinbeck Cemetery in Reinbeck, IA.
Marguerite Murphy was born on December 12, 1921, in rural Grundy County and married Wendell Clausman on April 18, 1942. They farmed between Dike and Reinbeck until she moved to West Des Moines in 1995.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia A. (Dennis) Ramsey of Ankeny, IA; sons, Edward (Cheryle) Clausman of Edina, MN and Richard Clausman of Camp Nelso, CA; daughter, Brenda Clausman (Nick Waage) of West Des Moines, IA; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was devoted to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Joseph and Robert Murphy, sister, Lucile Crowe and daughter, Carolyn Clausman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her family for the benefit of the Reinbeck Public Library or the Reinbeck Food Bank.
