Norma Cass McGlothlen, 73, of Kirksville, Mo., died of cancer at a hospice facility there Saturday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson with burial at Jefferson Cemetery.
Mrs. McGlothlen was born in Queen City, Mo., and had lived in Iowa City for six years, Jefferson for 41 years and Harlan for one year before moving to Kirksville two years ago. She had worked as a bookkeeper for REC in Jefferson and had processed ACT registration forms in Iowa City before retiring. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Iowa City and enjoyed crafts, ceramics and needlework.
She is survived by a brother, Donald Cass of Queen City, Mo.; a sister, Marie Dodson of Kirksville, Mo.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m.
