Vera Nicklas was born on 8 May 1889, in Charles City, Floyd county, Iowa. She died on 12 Dec 1962, in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. No obituary is available.

Her parents were William Nicklas (1846-1927) and Emma Charlotte Schlick Nicklas (1854-1927).

Vera never married, and she was a Methodist Deaconess for 25 years.

In the 1922 city directory for Des Moines showed Vera Nicklas as a student in Bible training school. She was about 35 years old at that time.

Vera is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, Floyd County, Iowa -- Block 12, Section 103, Row 16, Space 6.
