Familysearch.org Has families as you described in 1970, 1900, 1910 census. Also has reference to Elijah Dill, a participant in a probate in Saskatchewan.
Advantage Preservation has links to many Fayette papers which have articles about the family but only a little mention of Elijah. For instance a lawsuit was filed by Elijah for alienation of affection See * Sept 1918 West Union Argo. A criminal charge (unspecified ) was dismissed against Elijah. He may be in an unmarked paupers grave. On 22 Sept 1922 notice of filing for divorce of Isabelle and Frank. They may have reconciled.
Daughter Myrtle lived in Canada for some time . The obit of Ernest found at Find-a-grave says she lived in Stone, Saskatchewan. Meanwhile all the online grave markers have been searched and Elijah has not been found. I have not searched Canadian links. There is a pretty good list at the Familysearch wiki for Saskatchewan. Also I have not searched Ancestry.
Good luck.I think there is even more drama to be exposed. Be sure to see the story about the reunion of Isabelle and her son Ernest after 38 years! Perhaps you should contact the Fayette Co Gen Society for some local and on the ground help. It sounds like court records, burial permits, and probates may need to be searched.
