After a lengthy departure in Swale research, I tapped into this Swale communications on this website only last night. I regret having missed all queries from 2004-2012, as I had much of the information being sought, including information on William Swale's will, alluding to his two English-born children. Thomas Swale was my great grandfather. I was born & raised in Fayette County, Iowa, Windsor Twp where he and brother, William, were original land owners in 1854.
