1870 Census records indicate that David Houlsworth (b. abt. 1849 in Indiana) was the son of Joseph and Eliza J. Houlsworth of Illyria township, Fayette Co. and not found in 1880. In 1880 there was an Albert Pinney was living in Lutra (Elgin), Pleasant Valley township, Fayette Co. with wife Harriet and sons Guy, age 6 and Ray, age 5. In 1900, Albert Pinney (b. Mar 1850) and "Belle" (April 1854) had been married 13 years and Belle was mother of 2 children both living. Alden Pinney is the only child living with Albert and Belle. Alden's birthdate was given as Oct 1877, 12 years old. Belle and son Alden are living in Moreland township, Scott County, Missouri in 1910 and 1920. Alden is listed as a printer in 1910 and as a newspaper publisher in 1920. In 1920 Albert is still in Pleasant Valley township and at age 69 divorced. Both Belle and Albert are buried at Elgin in separate sections of the cemetery.
