I did find she was born in 1823, married to J. Clifford and does not readily appear on any census online as an obvious person who resided in the US for any length of time. It is possible she was a recent immigrant likely from Ireland but I am guessing.

A more likely line of research would to work backward from more recent generations to locate each one on census records and associated family members until you have a verifiable chain of the best possible evidence. Census record are now available online from 1940 back so It should be possible unless there is a confidential adoption or other change of name.
