Hi Chris, John Balch moved around a bit. He was in Eldorado where 2 of his children Melissa ,Maria & William warner were born. William died at around age 4.
I then find then in Beaver, Rock Co. MN.
Where William Warner 1859 (the 2nd),Benjamin Illif 1861 ,and Lucy Elmina 1863 were born.
The family then must have moved again as the last daughter Miriam Elizabeth was born in Elgin IA. Next place I find then is in Galva Iowa where the family must have finaly put down roots as I can track them around that area. I was at the courthouse in Laverne MN last week but their birth records start in 1874 and the historical society was closed for the season. If you can find this group in the census I would be most appreciative.
