Iowa Death Records.

I just got a copy of a death record from Fayette co. For Mellisa Kappes who died in 1911.
I was very disappointed to find that it does not list the name of her parents. This is a county death record. If I had sent for a state record would it have listed the name of her parents?
I know the name of her father a Miller but do not know the maiden name of her mother and that is what I expected to see on this record.
So my question is does a state death record have more information than a county record. Or at what date would the names of the parents been required on the record.
