Hi,
Lizzie Conley does not appear on WPA burial index or 1895 or 1900 census on Ancestry.com
She may have married or died.I found Charles in 1910 married to May N. (Hoyt?) in Anamosa, Jones, Iowa.
She is found in Wyoming in 1930 divorced with a dau.
If she is a Hoyt that is the connection. Also see online history:
HOYT, Daniel M., farmer, Sec. 16; born Aug. 4, 1829, in Magog, Canada East; in 1848 came to Dorchester, Mass.; in 1849 went to California; in 1853 returned to Massachusetts;in 1854 came to Fayette County. Owns 160 acres of land valued at $40 per acre. Married Lydia W. Merry Sept. 25, 1854; she was born in 1834 in Magog, Canada East; had eight children - six are living: Hattie C., Nora D., Winton F., Charlie W., Frank and Mary P. Mrs. H. is a member of the M. E. Church.1878 History of Fayette Co. Iowa - West Union Twp. Page 586
Question is Lizzie a common nickname for Lydia-new to me. The Hoyt's apparently moved to Duluth by about 1890.
The other posible relation would be if Lizzie Conley was sister to Daniel or Lizzie Hoyt. Possibly unlikely as place of birth was not known to whoever answered census questions.
