1925 Iowa State Census shows the wife of Orin Pelley to be Ellen Hall, and that Orin and Ellen were married in Illinois. Frank is present on the 1870 census with Ellen as his mother.

Iowa 1925 census has Minnie O Carroll, wife of Charles, daughter of Oran Pelley and Jeanette Harvey. Jenett appears with her father, Ostrander Harvey, and siblings in Clayton County on the 1860 census.

Putnam was the township. I don't know if their was ever a village of that name.
