IA 1856 census has a Caroline Davis, age 1, living in West Union, along with a Martha Foster, 10, b. WI and M A Murry, 25, b. Canada.

Susan, Marion and Oran show up in Chickasaw County on the 1856 census. Then she was listed as age 29, putting her birth about 1827. This Susan had been a resident of Iowa for 7 years. This matches up to the time Silvester Davis would have came to Iowa according to his 1850 census and children's birth records.

I'm not related.
