Searching for any information for Albert Jackson Allen (born in VA) who married Margaret Edith Burke (born in IA) in 1895. On the 1900 Cesus for Fayette Township they lived on Charles Street, Oelwun City, Jefferson Township. At the time they had two children Arthur William Allen born 1896,(my grandfather), and Albert Jackson Allen born 1899, Albert Jackson Allen Sr. was born 1872 and Margaret was born 1875. At the time of the census Mr. Allen was an insurance agent.
We have no other information on the family in the area, but by 1916 mother and sons were in Canada with the father listed as deceased, and the mother had since remarried to a Mr. Clarke who had deserted the family by 1916.
Any help would be appreciated as we have no connection with our family on my grandfather's side.
