My grgrgrgrandfather Alexander William ALEXANDER was born 1792 Scotland and lived in PA and live around Jackson Co., IA. Alexander married Elizabeth MOISE in Scotland. Alexander died Sep 1845 in Dubuque, IA from lock jaw from a buildign accident. He is buried Zwingle. Alexander and Elizabeth had seven children; Ann married John Maclay, Marian married Thomas Millsap. James born 1837 Scotland, Elizabeth b 1818 married William Uriah Burns, Charles born 1831 PA, William b 1834 PA and married Catherine Schollian and Margaret Elizabeth b 1838 Dubuque, IA (One of the lst white child born in IA) died 1919 Marion Co., IA. Margaret married Daniel WAGONER born 1829 PA 1856 Otter Creek Twp, Jackson CO., IA Daniel and Margaret had a daughter Elizabeth Ann Wagoner who married Wilson BROWN i 1880 Otter Creek Jackson Co., IA. Wilson BROWN parents were Samuel BROWN and Mary Anne Kemerer.

William ALEXANDER and Catherine SCHOLLIAN had a son Emanuel Edward ALEXANDER born 1868 Dubuque Co., IA and married Bessis Farnham.
