Hi Carol, You are posting on the Dubuque co site so what do you mean by "the Buena Vista area"? There is Buena Vista county and also townships of B.V. in Clayton & Jasper counties. Where do you last have Mary Kephart on a census record? You have to determine a locale before you look for burial records. The local county gene societies is the best way to go for this. Dick
