Leslein genealogy

From family lore it is said that Beatrice Leslein was living with her father and stepmother in Dubuque Iowa and somewhere between 1910 and 1914 she became very ill and was instatutionalized, the family thinks she was sent to an assylum or sanatorium for her illness, and she died there. Is anyone aware of such a place located in the Dubuque area,in the early 1900's. Thanks
