Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Clare Dunne, 81, were held in Dubuque April 16 with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Dubuque. Mrs. Dunne, a former resident of Dubuque, died at the Wilton Care center April 13.

She was born in Cascade and was a member of St. Patrick's parish and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, Elmer J. Dunne, died July 25, 1964.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Blanche Dunne, Independence, Mo.; Mary G. Dunne, Dubuque and Mrs. Fred (Patricia) Powers, Bennett; 5 sons, Paul L., Glenn J. and Donald V., all of Dubuque; Alan G., Falls Church, Va. and Orland J., Swingle; 21 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Irene) Kane, Cascade.
