Her parents went to Iowa a year later where they, with Lydia, settled in Waterloo and lived for four years.

Mrs. Snow served with the Red Cross as bandage instructor during World War I. She had a hobby of flowers and kept a beautiful flower garden which was admired by many tourists who visited the region. Being a member of the Methodist faith since childhood, she served her church through the Sunday School, being a member of the Sempre Fidelis class. Due to her health she was unable to be active in the church work but had served as chariman of the card committee of her class always adding a cheerful note or poem of cheer and courage, love and faith.

Mrs. Snow suffered from Asthma for many years and had gradually grown weaker in the last weeks. She was taken to the Marcus Snyder Memorial Hospital where she passed away Sunday morning, June 6, at 7:00 A.M.
