George Francis Inghram, b. July 29, 1870 in Burlington, Des Moines County, IA and died June 13, 1951 at St. Francis Hospital, Burlington.

George married Anna Dorthea Louise Schachel, daughter of William Schachel & Dorothy Koch, b. July 17, 1880 in Meiste, Prussia, Germany, died February 2, 1968 at Park View Nursing Home, Burlington, on May 29, 1901. They were married in a double ceremony with his half-brother, Arthur J. Inghram Jr., and Anna's sister, Wilhelmine L. Schachel, in Latty.

George and Anna are buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

George owned a gas station in Mediapolis, where the Phillips 66 is today. He also had an ice cream shop on the corner of Oak & Osborn streets in Burlington and built a house that is still standing on Oak Street.
