DYNAMITE CAUSES BAD INJURY

D. A. Anderson, who lives on one of the Barr farms in Prairie Township which he recently purchases, narrowly escaped being killed last Monday. He was engaged in blasting stumps when a premature explosion occurred and he was frightfully cut about the face and eyes. He was hurried to Cedar Rapids for treatment and it is not yet known whether he will lose the sight in one or both of his eyes.
