Some weeks ago an accident occurred to a boy named Charles Lambert at the turn-table at Manchester. The boys thought the I. C. R. R. Company should be liable for damages, but consulting attorneys found that no legal liability existed. This having been definitely settled, Mr. Knight, attorney for the I. C. R. R. sent the injured boy’s parents $250, and they have come to the conclusion that corporations sometimes due have souls.
