FORTMANN, Joseph

Joseph & Josephine nee Rolfes came to this country as husband & wife from Oldenburg, Germany in 1865. On 3-5-1874 they purchased a farm two miles east of Worthington. That farm has been in the family for 118 yrs. First owned by Joseph, then his son Henry; then his son Edward; followed by his son Richard Fortmann and wife Marilyn. Children: Elizabeth; Henry J.; Frank; Anton; Emma; Rose; & Joseph Jr
