Several months ago the children of T. J. Graves planned a family reunion and set the 20th of September (yesterday) as the day. Some had not been at home for nearly a quarter of a century while two or three had dropped in once or twice for a few days within the last five years. They arrived as follows: Mrs. Jane Burnison, of Kansas, about a week ago, Mesdames Neighbor, Cedar Rapids, and Neff, Ottumwa, Monday, and Mrs. Ann Turner and brother, Will, of Chicago, Tuesday, Harry and his wife, of Decatur City, yesterday, and "Bud," of Arkansas, is expected today. Yesterday was spent by the family visiting with one another and visiting old friends. This is a very pleasant home coming of the children to Mr. Graves as he is getting aged and possibly the last time the children will all meet around the family board.
