GOLDEN WEDDING
Saturday, April 10th, being the 50th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. Wm. Robison to Miss Catherine Trembley, their children to the number of five with their companions and grandchildren to the number of eighteen gathered at their home to celebrate the event. All the children and grandchildren were present except the oldest grandchild, Miss Zeta Robison, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John T. Robison , who is attending school at Leon, and was unable to attend because of the illness of the lady with whom she is making her home.
Mr. Robison wore the vest to the suit in which he was married and Mrs. Robison displayed two pieces of dishware that were among the first with which she began housekeeping. There have been some very remarkable events in the history of the estimable couple and their family in that all of their children, the youngest being 28 years old and all of their grandchildren are still living accept two grandchildren that died infancy. Also they have lived continuously on the farm where they now reside since 1859, moving there immediately after their marriage.
Mr. and Mrs. Robison are held in the highest esteem by their neighbors and friends, who are numbered only by their acquaintances. They were the receipts in many and useful presents. Virgil Robison furnished entertainment in the afternoon with his phonograph. Suitable postcards were presented to each guest as a souvenir of the event. All report an enjoyable time and wish them many returns of their wedding anniversary.
