April 20, l892As we have not seen any items from this
corner we will try and jot down
a few.Meeting at Wesley Chapel last Sunday at ll
o'clock and also in the
evening at 7:30.MRS. H.L. PECK called on STELLA REESE last
Saturday evening.A dance at MR. ABERNATHEY's last Friday
night. A fine time reported by
all who were present.MRS. J.B. PIERSOL called on MRS. J. HAYDEN
last Saturday.MR. and MRS. W.W. REESE visited in Wayne
County Saturday night and
Sunday with her parents, MR. and MRS. J.
SINCLAIR.GEORGE PIERSOL is breaking new ground at
present, but reports it pretty
hard to work.JOHN REESE attended church at Wesley
Chapel last Sunday morning.MR. and MRS. O.W. PECK and family of Wayne
County visited at J. PECK's
last Saturday and attended the dance at
JOHN ABERNATHEY's.JAMES FLYNN called on MISS STELLA REESE
last Saturday evening.Quite a number from this vicinity attended
the Golden Wedding of MR. and
MRS. PETER WALLACE on the l4th inst.LITTLE EMMA SMALLWOOD visited at her
grandpa REESE's last week.MRS.J. PECK visited with her daughter,
MRS. J. ABERNATHY last Friday.DANDRIDGE ROBINSON went to Lineville last
Saturday on business.GEORGE PIERSOL and MISS OMA WOOD attended
the dance at ABERNATHEY's
Friday evening.A report from Smithfield, Nebraska, states
that NELSON PIERSOL has been
laid up for the past two weeks with a
sprain. This would be pretty hard
on NELSE as it is such a busy time.MRS. F.B. MOORE is visiting with her
parents this week.MRS. JULIA HINDS is talking of going to
Ohio this fall to visit her
