JIM COZAD and wife, of Decatur, visited
over Sunday with his mother,
MRS. M.J. COZAD.

GEO. SMALLWOOD and daughter, LUCILLE,
departed Monday for Des Moines to
attend the state fair.

FLOYD COZAD visited with his aunt, MRS.
S.J. COZAD, Sunday.

GEORGE ROBINSON and daughter, MRS. MAY
WINKLEMAN, and children departed
Friday for her home at Foster after
several days' visiting with
relatives in this vicinity.

A.T. HUBBARD, J.W. HUBBARD, CHAS.
SMALLWOOD, JOHN OSBORNE and MELVIN
GOINS went to Des Moines Monday to take in
the state fair sights.

MISS COY CURRY visited the past week with
her aunts, MISSES EMMA and LOU
ROBINSON.

M.L. DALE, wife and daughter, NELLIE, had
business at Leon Saturday.

The county bridge gang are erecting a new
bridge south of M.L. DALE's
this week. This place has needed a new
bridge for a long time. The
hands are boarding at Elmdale Farm.

J.B. MCDANIEL, with his new thresher, is
doing fine work threshing in
this vicinity this week.
