December l6, l909HENRY COSNER, one of the South Enders, who
is allied with one of the
stock yards institutions, always did wear
a serious look, along with
enough of other things to keep him from
getting into trouble with the
police and the ordinance against men going
around en decolette. But of
late there has been more than the ordinary
seriousness in the bearing of
this man COSNER. He has looked so sad and
serious that his friends
began to be alarmed. But HENRY was not
saying anything. He was just
sawing wood and going up to Leon, Iowa, on
stated occasions. Now he has
quit going to Iowa. He has brought Iowa,
or part of it, down here and
is not bothering about where he will board
this winter. He is now a benedict. He was married
Thursday night to MISS LETTIE
ELLIS, whose home was in Leon. For the
past couple of weeks MISS ELLIS
had been visiting relatives in North St.
Joseph and Thursday evening MR.
COSNER and MISS ELLIS were quietly married
by Rev. Mohler, of the King
Hill Baptist Church, the ceremony being
performed at the parsonage of
the church. MR. COSNER and wife will
reside at 3l4 East Colorado Avenue
in South St. Joseph.--ST.
