Marion Roberts

Marion E. Roberts, 87, Bloomfield, died at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 1985, at the Davis County Hospital.

He was born Sept. 21, 1897 in Davis County to Samuel and Ida Cunningham Roberts. He was a retired farmer and lived in Davis County all of his life. He married Lizzie Mustard on Jan. 29, 1919 in Davis County.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Earl of Troy, Richard of Luray, Mo. and Stanley of Logan; three daughters, Florence Francis and Kathleen Charbonneau, both of Logan and Darlene Roberts of Bloomfield; 17 grandchildren including Donnie Martin and Marlene Hougland, who were raised in the home; several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at the Wagler Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Steven Albrecht. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.

The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
