Searching for information on family of Henry Elisha Shepard (my gr-grandfather) b. 1848 in Willoughby, Lake Co. OH, m. Martha Ellen Watrous. They appear on the 1870 Boone Twp., Dallas Co. census along with Martha's parents, Andrew and Matilda Watrous. They and their first 6 children (born between 1871 and 1880) appear on the 1880 Adel Twp., Dallas Co. census. Later moved to Des Moines, Polk Co. IA. Henry's parents were Milton A. Shepard and Louisa A. Hill, who moved to Iowa in 1864. Willing to share information.
