Bessie & Alex were my great aunt and uncle, however to me Bessie was grandma, as she and Alex raised my mom, Margarette Parr. My mom's dad Charles Parr was Bessie's younger brother. What information do you need? All the Patterson children are gone now and it's just the grandkids left, although I don't know where they all went I do have contact with a few. Yes, Alex is buried in Waukee and Bess is buried in Des Moines. Looking forward to hearing back from you. My mom passed away in 1998, but she told many stories of the family. Yes, he was the Marshall/Sheriff for the town.
