I would like to know if anyone has an obituary
or death notice for William Beck.
I am trying to find out the name of his parents.
there are two graves in Oakland Cemetery,DeSoto
Iowa, W.M.Beck born 10 Jan 1836 died 06 Nov 1919
s/s Anna C.
Anna C. Beck born 04 Mar 1838 died 28 June 1904
s/s/ W.M. w/o W.M.

William was born in No. Carolina in 1836
Married Angeline Comfort Earl 12 Mar 1857
Brown, Illinois, she was the daughter of
John Earl and Rebecca Pile.
in the 1870 Census they were in Adams township
Dallas Co. Iowa 24 June 1870 he was a famer
they had the following children
Alice, Alma (this is my ancestor) Charles,
and Cora.

Alma Beck married William Tecumseh Scarborough
15 Dec 1881 Dallas Co. Iowa
he was the son of P.J. or Pompey J. Scarborough
and Martha M. Dorris.

If you have any information you will share, please
let me know. I really am hoping to find a
obituary or death notice for Willam Beck .
