Henry & Emily Garfield -- Dawson, 1880

Looking any information on Henry William Garfield and Emily Anne (Hoag) Garfield that was in Dawson, Dallas Co, IA around 22 May 1880. That was when their daughter Mertie Ellen Garfield was born (My G'Mother). Also Henry and family was residents of Perry, Dallas Co, IA around the 1 March 1879 and had a son by the name of George A. Garfield and they were from NY. Henry and Emily are my g'g'grand-parents. Any info on this family is deeply appreciated.
Looking for any information on the Herbert William Shorey and Mertie Ellen (Garfield) Shorey who son Erle Oscar Shorey was born there on 5 September 1909. Plus they had a daughter by the name of Iris May Shorey age about 12. This was in I believe Lincoln Township or Adel,Dallas Co.IA. I believe the family move there from Stuttgart,AR. Any information on this family is deeply appreciated.
