Last evening at 6:35 o'clock at the Agatha hospital, where he had been confined for two weeks, occurred the death of John Peterson. He was 75 years of age and had lived in the city for the last two years, coming to stay with his only surviving relatives, a son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman F. Jackson, in Tenth avenue. His death was due to old age and a complication of the attendant diseases.
Funeral services will be held from the Estabrook undertaking parlors at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

Died June 29, 1916Funeral services for the late John Petersen were held from the Second Baptist, colored, church in Elm Street this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock the Rev. F. J. Nott officiating. The children's choir of the A.M.E. church sang. Burial was made in Springdale cemetery. The pall-bearers were Scott Robinson, M.O. Culberson, Henry Clay, William Henderson, William. Emerson and George Lucky.
