Memorial services for Thomas Richard Murphy age 46 will be 11 a.m., Saturday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services.
Tom graduated from Clarke Community High School with the class of 1984. He graduated from the University of Iowa and Creighton University Law School. He was a member of the Iowa Bar Association and the Nebraska Bar Association and had been practicing as an attorney with his father's law firm in Osceola for 17 years.
Tom enjoyed golf, bowling, and fantasy sports and loved his adopted dogs and cats. He was lifetime Chicago Cubs fan.
Tom's mother, Pat Murphy preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Lenora "Jeanie" Jean Murphy of Osceola, father, Richard "Dick" Murphy of Osceola, brother, Steve (Lesli) Murphy of Burlington, sister, Michelle "Micki" (Armando) Rivera of Osceola, niece, Shayla Murphy and nephew, Nathan Murphy both of Burlington as well as other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Clarke County Animal Shelter.
