Samuel R. Bell

Samuel Richard Bell, son of Samuel and Hannah Bell was born July 22, 1885 in Douglas county, Ill. At the age of four he moved with his parents to a farm five miles southwest of Osceola, Iowa, where he grew to manhood.

October 30, 1912, he was united in marriage to Mary Edna Hardenberg at Hamburg, Iowa. To this union was born one daughter.

He lived on the farm until 1935 when he moved to Osceola and since that time has been in business here. He was stricken with a heart attack seven weeks ago and taken to Clarke (the rest is missing).
