Newton ‘Newt’ Ellis Watkins

Newton “Newt” Ellis Watkins, son of Wood and Lena Brinkman Watkins, was born Jan. 18, 1910, in Bakersfield, Calif. and died Nov. 17, 1999, of a heart ailment at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. He was 89.

A graveside memorial service officiated by Pastor Duane Lauer and burial of the cremains was Nov. 22 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
