Obituary -

(The Sentinel Osceola, Iowa December 25, 1958)

JEFFREY SHOWERS Jeffery Fernando Showers, son of Hubert Showers and Hazel Showers, was born October 9, 1958, at the Clarke County Hospital, Osceola, Iowa, and departed this life December 15, 1958, at the age of two months and 6 days.

He lived his short life at Woodburn, Iowa.

He leaves to mourn his passing his Father and Mother, a sister, Sheryl Cadonna, four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Chipp of Fallbrook, California, Mrs. Coy Showers of Woodburn, and Mr. Lawrence Showers of Pleasanton, Iowa, six great - grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Showers of Lineville, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O. Chipp of Lucas, Iowa, Mrs. Gussie Lockwood of Newton, Iowa, and Mrs. Elsie Zimmerman of Des Moines, a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Those preceding him in death were an uncle, Charles Lawrence Showers, and two great grandfathers, John L. Lockwood and James Zimmerman.

Funeral services at Webster Funeral Home, Osceola, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 18. Rev Elmer Clark of Woodburn officiated with interment in the Woodburn Cemetery.
