Albert Daniel Busick, son of Milton Henry and Mary Elizabeth Busick, was born June 26, 1876 at Buffalo, Mo. He passed away Monday, Nov. 23 at the age of 88 years.
He came to Clarke county when a small child in a covered wagon, the trip taking two weeks from Buffalo.
He was married to Cora M. Walters on November 10, 1897 at Osceola. They made their home here where he was engaged in mason work.
They moved to a farm in Ward Township in 1907, where they resided until 1950 where they retired and moved back to town.
He was a member of the Old Frame Methodist church close to the farm on which they resided.
Six children were born to this union, five of whom survive.
Survivors include his wife, Cora of sixty-seven years; three sons, Guy of Council Bluffs; Russell of Ames and Owen of Osceola; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Schader of Osceola and Mrs. Don Stottlemyer of Council Bluffs; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; one son, Willis preceded him in death June 8, 1936.
He loved his home and family and will be greatly missed by them all.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 25 at the Webster Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Boehler officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery.
