James Dee Obituary and Death Date

I am unable to find a death date for our 2nd great grandfather, James William Dee. I know he died between 1884 and 1901 in Jacksonville. I cannot find mention of his death in the newspapers, but did find his wife, Johanna Dee's 1910 obituary, which mentions he died "some years ago". He is mentioned in the newspaper in a land dispute in 1884 and again as deceased in an article about St. Joseph's church in 1901.

Any help would be appreciated!
