Cherokee, Iowa., Aug. 3. – Bert Cobb came hear losing his life this morning by the explosion of a shotgun which shattered one of his hands badly. It was a new gun and Mr. Cobb was out shooting at a mark when the gun exploded. The doctors think they will be able to save a portion of his hand.
