The 1920 census for Cerro Gordo Co., Grimes Twp., shows a Jacob Nattress age 71, who was born in England and came to the United States in 1849.
(year he was born also same as year immigrated?)
His wife, Mattie, age 57, born WI, parents born England.

In 1900 I find the above Jacob and Mattie, living at Thornton, Cerro Gordo Co., as well as dau. Nina, age 12, born WI, 1887, both parents born WI.
Also Fird?, stepson, age 14, born Dakota 1885,
both parents born WI.
Could your Nina have been a step daughter?
Or is this the wrong family?

I do not find a Charles Wesley Nattress in Cerro Gordo Co. from 1900 thru 1930 census.
