Dear Kevin: I am doing research on the Shultz family and I just found some new information on the Shultz family. I have George Shultz married to Margeret Vought 4/24/1859 in Somerset Co., Pennsylvania and found the two on the 1860 Pennsylvania census. In 1870 I have George and Margaret Shultz in Neosho Co., Kansas with children John, Mary Ellen, David and Alice, my Great grandmother. In 1880 Census I found only Margaret Shultz in Butler Co., Iowa with children John, Mary, David, Willie and Rosa. Is it possible that the George Shultz listed on the rolls of the 21 Regiment,Iowa Infantry is either some one else or did George and Margaret divorce and George started a New family. I have additional information I am willing to share with you. My Address is
