Richard D. "Dick" Payton, 88, of Cresco, IA, formerly of rural Lime Springs, IA died on Sunday August 26, 2012 at Evans Memorial Home in Cresco.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Cresco United Methodist church in Cresco, Iowa. Interment was in Elmwood - St. Joseph cemetery in Mason City, Iowa.
Survivors include his daughters: Norma Jean (Eugene) Pecinovsky of Cambridge and Janice (Dean) Hauge of Mason City; grandchildren Scott (Chelly) Pecinovsky, Shannon Pecinovsky, Kimberly (Darrin) White, and Kelly (Brandon) Lane; great-grandchildren: Ashlynn and Mallary Pecinovsky; Cadin, Lilli and Danica Pecinovsky; Caleb White; and Carter and Lexa Lane: sister-in-laws: Alveda Payton of Thornton, Iowa; Carol Payton of Liberty, Missouri; and Helen Norem of Ames, Iowa; many nieces and nephews.
