Funeral services for Rose E. (Rosie) Krotz, 84, Belle Plaine and formerly of Tipton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 1988 with a cremain interment at the Tipton Masonic cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating.

Mrs. Krotz died June 21 at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. She had been a resident of Beverly Manor in Belle Plaine.

The daughter of Asa W. and Mary Burrows Baker, she was born June 4, 1903 in Tipton. She married James A. Krotz and was employed by Heinz in Muscatine.

Mrs. Krotz is survived by a son, Arnold Krotz, Tipton; a granddaughter, Belva German, Clarion and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a son and 2 great-grandchildren.
