Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Mary Agnes) Skriver, 89, were held at West Branch Dec. 3 with the Rev. Samuel J. Hahn officiating. Leanna Thomas was organist. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Skriver died at Crestview Care Center Dec. 1.

The daughter of Michael and Margaret Dewey Murphy, she was born at Iowa City April 15, 1898. She married Harry Skriver at Iowa City in 1925. She and her husband had farmed in the Downey and West Liberty areas.

Mrs. Skriver was a member of the United Methodist church and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by 3 sons, Howard, Iowa City; James, Davenport and Robert, West Liberty; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Francis Murphy, Pasadena, Calif. and Robert Murphy, Minneapolis, Minn. and 2 sisters, Gertrude Jensen and Estella Murray, both of Pasadena, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a brother and 2 sisters.
