1878 Cedar Co. History, Rochester twp, pg 726. Wilson, Andrew, farmer, Sec. 8, P.O. Rochester. Owns 311 acres of land valued at $30 per acre. Born in Highland co., OH in 1823, came to Iowa in 1839. Married Elizabeth Lauderman in 1843, she was born in Greene co., OH in 1822. Have 6 children- William H., S. J., George W., Ellen, Preda, and Anna Belle. Located on his present farm in 1843, was one of the early settlers of the county. Mr. W. was Township Assessor 7 years. Democrat.
