1878 Cedar Co. History, Rochester twp pg 724. Henderson, Daniel, farmer, Sec. 29, P.O. Moscow. Owns 309 acres of land valued at $40 per acre. Born in Pike co., OH in 1821, came to Iowa in 1840; removed to his present farm in 1853. Married Hannah Wilson in 1841, she was born in Warren co., Indiana in 1823. Have 8 children- Amanda M., Harriet M., S. J., D. W., Abbie J., Alice, John D., and Ida L. Are members of the Christian Church. Republican.
