Mr. Editor:-New business enterprises are cropping out daily.
Mr. Charles McDevitt, of brick farm has produced a very fine clay, peculiar to this section, a beautiful bright red colored brick. It is free from fire check, solid, and rings like china. It is his first kiln, and from his experiment, he has the satisfaction of knowing that nowhere in the State can they be surpassed for quality. We view this as no small local advantage, as brick house would more often take the place of frame was the quality of the brick as fine as those of Mr. McDevitt’s.
