Rodman, Strawn, Hume, Barnhill Seeking WILLIAM RODMAN Iowa family information. Wm Rodman b. about 2/10/1797 Mifflin Co. Juniata River PA d. 3/7/1884 in Glidden, IA. He is buried in East Liberty Cemetary in Lanesboro, IA. His 1st wife was Hannah Strawn who he married in Perry Co OH. 2nd wife was Elizabeth Hume married in Marion or Boone Co IN 1848. 3d wife was Sarah Barnhill married in IN 1848. William was probate judge in Boone Co. & relocated to Jones & Wayne Co. IA. He was in freight hauling business. His children & grandchildren born & died in Monticello IA. Wm. is brother to my gg grandfather Dr. Samuel Wiles Rodman of Boone Co IN & Washington State Territory. Wm.'s son John H Rodman was elected sherrif in Boone Co in 1850s & relocated to Ray County Missouri. I'm tracking William to HOPEFULLY LOCATE his mother or step mother Roseann Cusick Rodman as well as seeking documented information on William Rodman's recorded birth place & known grandparents of the 1700s in Pennsylvania or Virginia. Also, DELONG; CUYSINGER; FACKNER; COOKSON; SELLARS; MOORE; &; HEZRANDT names followed the Rodmans as they migrated from Perry Co thru IN to ILL & IA. Best Wishes & Thank you for your help.
