Page 2Services for Lars P. Larsen, 89, of Dedham will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. The Rev. Timothy Koenig, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Carroll, will officiate. Burial will be in the Dedham Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mr. Larsen, well-known Dedham area farmer, died after a long illness at 6:25 a.m. April 17 at the Carroll Manor Nursing Home, where he had resided since February.
A son of Andrew Madsen and Maren Andersen Larsen, he was born July 21, 1882, at Stagsedgaard, Denmark, and was baptized and confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Faith. He was married to Anna Kristine Konradsen at Audubon in December, 1907, and they moved to the Dedham area from Audubon County in February, 1919. Mrs. Larsen died in 1959.
Mr. Larsen's survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Anna Mogensen and Mrs. Walter Olson of Loveland, Colo.; Mrs. Hans Nelson of Longmont, Colo.; and Mrs. Joe Habetler of Scranton; two sons, Andrew of Dedham and Richard of Denver, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Timothy Koenig, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiated. Mrs. Victor Jons was organist and accompanied Sherrie Grade as she sang "The Old Rugged Cross." Pallbearers were grandsons of Mr. Larsen. Burial was in the Dedham Cemetery.
Mr. Larsen, a native of Denmark and a well-known Dedham area farmer, died at the Carroll Manor Nursing Home in Carroll April 17.
